Default just bought a 406 with some problems

Hi guys just after some help
I`ve just bought a V plate hdi with some problems
1st is the thrust bearing is about to give in, sounds like a bag of nuts in the gearbox till you put the clutch in
2nd is the speedo cuts off and comes back to life after about 20 mins?
3rd the car came with a kenwood cd player fitted, I tried to replace it but now once I turn everthing off, after about 2 mins the dash all lights back up and starts beeping????????
guys can anyone help please?

your non standard radio is causing an electrical short this is well known issue

your thrust /release bearing needs sorting ASAP possibly a whole clutch kit

It was all fine with the kenwood radio in, but the wires had been bodged, I remember the odd set up from an old pug I had before, the fuse did pop when I discovered baee wires, could it have reset the alarm or something, cause I can get all the dash to work and stereo everything, but after turning everything off now the whole dash lights back up after a few mins and makes a beeping noise, cars off the road at the moment, hoping to do the bearing this weekend
