Default Interchangeable parts

Hello I am new to this forum and have spent about 20 mins trying to find out how to post on it !! I have. 2001 90bhp hdi, I also have another one for spare parts! But I'm thinking of changing here soon to a newer model! What years do parts interchange if you get me? Ex ....will I be able to swap suspension from my 01 model into an 03 model car ??

All facelift 406 parts will swap they only made them till 2004 anyway

90s never changed much over years last models had fancy trim but were basically same as yours i have a 2004 model here.

I had a problem with my car were the dials stopped working ! But long story short the problem was 3 plugs under carpet that had gotten wet I changed one plugs before calling the auto spark out!! My car is July 2001 and the spare car is June or mayish but apparently the plugs were different ?? I noticed on the later models that the fuel gage is in the centre of dash would that make any different if I was to say swap my 2001 dash into a 2004 car ??

Dash would fit miles would change to whatever is highest plugs under floor vary with car spec not age.

The '4' will fit.....

There are a few good 406s left, do you want a saloon or an estate?
