Default DPF tank

hi guys

can anyone tell me were the dpf tank is on my 406 53 plate i have the fluid to put in but cant locate were it is

On my 407 2.2 hdi 170 its located behind the engine bay infront on the drivers side not sure if its the same on the 406 as mine isn't refillable has had a fluid bag replaced recently

yes i had this problem on my other 406 hdi when it came up with anti pollution fault i put in a garage they fill the dpf tank up but not got the money to put in a garage again so doing it myself

Only the 406 2.2 HDi has a particle filter.

Antipolution fault is a generic message and can mean anything. You need a PP2k session to find out what's brought it up. (For example on my 406 it was usually a problem with the throttle position sensor.)

Have a look under the back of the car, just in front of the rear passenger wheel.

Later 110's also may have DPFs, seems Peugeot were a bit experimental with the emission bits and bobs near the end of the run...

My APF was normally turbo over boosting..

my 406 is 2.0 ltr and so was my old one was to and both 90bhp and i have look under the back and can't see anything there

As far as I am aware there are no Hdi 90s with a DPF, apart from the weird one a member on another forum had...

I suspect your issue is MAF, EGR, throttle sensor or fuel pressure related.

The 90 is more basic than the others, so much less to go wrong

so why did i have the fluid put on my last 406 hdi 90bhp and that was an 02 plate
