Default Diagnostic Tool -Lexia-3 PP2000 incompatible with window 7 and 8

Dear Peugeot Members,
I have problem with my Peugeot 406 Hdi 90 Diesel. It starts and stops after 10 minutes. Based on the threads on Peugeot forum I decided to buy Lexia-3 PP2000 as a diagnostic tool because I don't know Peugeot dealers in my area (Mbeya, Tanzania). I decided to buy the diagnostic tool from china but it doesn't support with window 7 or 8. It is compatible with windows XP only.
Any advice how can I make compatible with windows 8 could be helpful.
Thnks

If you use diagbox software it will work with win 7 or you need to use VMware and a virtual machine

My 7.62 runs fine in Vista, if that's any use.
