Default 95 or 98 octane leadfree petrol?

Hi,

I am new to the forum and this is my first post...

I have a Q: in the service manual of my Peugeot 406 coupe V6 (older version 194bhp), it says I can use 95 octane leadfree petrol or 98 octane leadfree petrol.
Which one is better for my engine?

Kind regards,

//Tommy

98 offers slightly higher performance, while 95 offers better fuel economy for regular use.

For general use, either is fine. 98 is more expensive though.
