Default 406 doin my head in - please help !!!

could someone please help me with this issue, alternatively shoot me,
it would be a result either way......
I have no 12v supply to air con compressor.
the positive wire to compressor is acting as a neg supply ie,
volt meter from battery + and this wire give 12.7 v reading....!!!!!

had new condenser, pressure switch, and full of gas,
12v direct to compressor works fine,
so thinking electrical problem,
cleaned all the earthing points,
10v fuse fine,
a/c switch fine (I assume)
pressure switch new (so fine I assume)
relay in BSI (?????)

I'm not even sure where to start with this,
where does the 12v supply from fuse go to first ??

if anyone has any experience of this I would be eternally (and some) grateful, am close to giving up, should have just bought one with a sun roof,

cheers good pug people,

Hi ,
there is a relay in the BSI unit which can cause this issue . Bit of a job to fix if you have to , I would check to ensure that the relay is your issue ,

Here is a link to a german site which outlines problem and a repair

Reparaturanleitung Relais fŁr Klimaanlage / Klimakompressor im 406 : Peugeot 4er, 5er, 6er

it is in german but the photographs are quite good and google translate is your friend

best of luck with it

Could be worth getting PP2k on it to check that the system really is instructing the air con to run.
