406 coupe petrol or diesel?
Thinking of buying a 406 coupe, they are relatively plentiful here in Spain and of course rust free.
The dilemma that i have is diesel is cheaper here and of course the 406 coupe diesel gets better MPG. Assuming that the diesel coupe has no issues with the FAP DPF thing should i buy it as opposed to the 2.0 petrol or is it just a matter of time before i get a DPF problem.
Not worried about performance just buying the car on basis of looks. Thanks is advance.

DPF system is simple and as long as it is kept replenished with fluid and the car is driven properly DPFs are absolutely fine problems occur when the fluid runs out and warnings are ignored or cars are only driven short journeys constantly.
assume nothing check everything twice !!
