Default Turbo issues

Hey folks!

My father-in-law has a 4007 diesel, not sure what engine.

The car started to smoke and smell burnt oil and went into limp-mode (i presume, lost most power and could only rev it to ~2800rpm)

I hooked my obd2 and pulled these codes

I tried clearing them and it went out of limp-mode but same codes appeard again almost immediately.

Any good idead where to start looking for the issue?

P129b point to the catalytic converter.
P0299 seems to have many reasons, all pointing around turbo.
P1350 and P1351 is something about preheating glowplugs.
P2563 points on turbo vaccum control.

Could be a blocked exhaust if the cat has collapsed

If it does not sound like a siren when reved, first check would be turbo hoses for splits or disconnection as some of the codes and smoke could be from loss of boost, then check the vacuum pipes and boost control solenoids.

If you plan on staying around please take the time to post an introduction in the correct thread
