Default Engine in limp mode

My daughter has a 4007 diesel which suddenly showed a warning light and the engine went to limp mode after a popping sound and the sound of air rushing in. Any thoughts on the possible cause?

Default engine in limp mode

The problem is now sorted - apparently a pipe had escaped the grip of the jubilee clip and come loose. Not sure which pipe but all she needs to do now is get the engine management fault light to go away.

Probably the turbo outlet pipe on the inlet side of the engine. If light has not reset itself most generic code readers can reset it but really it should be checked for codes as most lights reset once the fault is cured.

Light should go off itself after a few drives
