Default 4007. Engine suddenly cut out wonít turnover

Hi. Just bout 4007 3 months ago. Yesterday whilst reversing a small garden trailer the engine suddenly stopped. Error messages came up on dash.
Engine overheating, 4x4 requires attention, headlamp not level. When I turn the key the glow plug light remains on, I can hear a click but car wonít turn over. Battery is ok. Can anyone help with this? Itís going to garage tomorrow.

Default no start

I agree with the previous post, to test for a good earth try plugging in the cigarette lighter in the centre console, let it warm up and see if it glows red. the purpose of this is to test the batteries ability to provide current, generally if you have a bad earth this test may fail. Testing with a multimeter is not always accurate on cars. however I would put a meter across the battery during this test.
If the cigarette lighter is bright red this would seem to indicate that you main ground from the battery and the supply is good.
A few years ago I had an issue with my battery car wouldn't start and the windscreen wipers moved slowly.
A replacement battery fixed this.

post the results we can go from there,,

Cheers Tony
