Unhappy 4007 2012 GT Headlights always on when Engine running

Hi Guys, i am new to this site, i have had my 2012 4007 gt for nearly 2 years, i tow a caravan with it and i love the car, the one niggle i have is that the headlights are always on when the engine is running, if i just have the ignition on the lights work as per the lighting control stork but as soon as i turn on the engine, even if i have the stork to off, the lights come on, any way i can resolve this??

Some modern cars and vans seem to have this annoying feature as standard you could just turn the stalk to sidelights once running i think its a cheapo way to comply with the stupid daytime running light rubbish.

Sounds like the DRL (Daytime Running Lights) feature has been enabled in the ECU, it can be disabled if you have Planet/Diagbox.
