I am not sure to be honest but there are four little covers by the handles above the door and in the boot inside the car on the roof, have you checked inside there to see if there are any bolts?

Bound to be bolted from inside so you would probably have to drop the headlining to get at them.

I have checked the plastic covers not there. Next too check are the handlebars. I will not take down the headlining. In that case i just mask the car...

On our car on one side rail you can just see where the screws coming from the inside have raised the outer surface. So yes, probably a roof lining removal job. Or push to one side at the very least.
