Default Reliability issues

How reliable is your 308? I have a 1.2 EAT6 130 that has let me down recently.
1. 2nd year service - reported a knocking noise which turned out to be a anti-roll bar link. Replaced under warranty.
2. One week later - fuel leak after filling up. Recovered to local Pug dealer - pressurisation problem causing fuel tank seal to fail. New fuel tank and seals fitted under warranty. Car in dealer for 2 weeks waiting for parts!

Great car to drive but these 2 issues have seriously dented my confidence in the car. And thatís before the appalling service at Robins and Day Derby....

To be fair the antiroll bar link/bush wear is down to the shit roads not the car !

Fuel leakage could be anything from bad parts to bad assembly or pure bad luck who knows.

Peugeots biggest issue is actually the dealers lack of knowledge/ability/customer service and if they dont fix that they are never going to do any better than average.
assume nothing check everything twice !!

Both front shocks replaced under warranty due to N/S knocking - known 308 issue & parts have been upgraded.

Pressure sensor for air conditioning issue replaced due to implausible reading recorded in BSI fault code memory.

Clutch master cylinder replaced due to the annoying creaking sound - known 308 issue.

Windscreen washer pump replaced due to sticky valve.

All parts replaced under warranty, it helps I use a small main dealer that has an excellent reputation built up over many years.

Engine Management light in first month of ownership on 17 plate two years old 15,000 miles . Catalytic converter replaced under warranty. I hope I have bought a reliable car and time will only tell but I have one year of warranty left.

When did front shocks get upgraded?

The fuel issue could be down to bad fuel and the levels of ethanol has increased . Modern vehicles should be able to cope and the fuel lines and seals should have the correct ratings.

I know Kia had a problems fuel tanks with lining dissolving and complete fuel tank replacement at the cost of customers! My friend was not to happy.

Hey, Im new here and have been viewing all the useful tips and tricks on here!

I've had a list of issues with my 308 since owning it from new, are I start to mention them all?

308 2015 Allure 1.2 THP 130 ~ 4 years

Rear axle replaced
Front strut mount (Driver side)
Stop & start battery
Rear seat (started to unthread)
Clutch slave cylinder
Touch screen - compute unit (can't recall what is was they replaced but it was the main unit for the touchscreen to function)

Still waiting for it to go into the garage again to have the clutch looked at, makes a similar nois like that of the rear axle.

Dealership had it for 3 months and lost it for the first, then worked on it for the last two and still couldn't get to the bottom. Then they said, they had to wait to book in a warranty specialist who is still unavailable whenever I leave it with them.

To make matters worse, after raising a query with the service light the guys reset it and said it wasn't due then. Made a 300 mile trip from london to Wales and engine management / service light pops up 20 miles out from our destination.

No issues driving, apart from cruise control refused to work. Pulled over and restart with no issues, no leaks, loss of power etc. Next day, good as gold had windscreen replaced after a crack. Now there due back out after misalignment of the light sensor.

The car is booked in for a full service this Thursday, before the trip back to London but the garage did say when I took in the next day that it had 10 undocumented error codes but wouldn't explain what they were.

Last service: 35,400
Mileage: 45,000
Management light: 44,800

Never had this issue, always had service done promptly a month before and at the dealership.

Car pulls lovely, good tech and a lovely drive just a shame about all the annoying issues.

Anyone know how to change the top rear light? Passed recent MOT with advisory as there are a few LEDs which are dead.
