LOL! I does nothing, really? In both cases, low oil will destroy both gearboxes.

If you re read properly you will find the person posting regarding oil level is trying to say the HIGH oil level is the cause of the car not driving right !!

Obviously low oil levels will EVENTUALLY destroy a gearbox but that's not what the OP is asking !
