Default Help me, I have to replace air vent myself.

Hi, all!

I have broken air vent, note the location form bottom image.

So, i bought replacement part from china.

Anyone knows how to remove that?

I have trimmer.

Need other tools?

Center console have to be removed first?

Thank you.

(2019 308 GT-Line 1.5 Blue-HDi left hand model)

There simply clipped in.

Carefully using a trim tool start levering between the bottom black edge of the air vent & the silver dash surround.

They are tightly fitted with metal spring clips.

Looking closely at the replacement unit might also help you work out where these clips are.

Yesterday, i tried insert trim tool about 5cm into location from image.



And i listened sound "tick".

But i could not pull it back.(sweated profusely)

Have you any advice for me?

I can see 4 clips around unit.

May i need 4 trim tools at a time?

There very very securely clipped in, they do take some force to remove.
