Default Front parking sensors

Last week had a slight bang in2 another car no damage, one of front parking sensors appeared to have broken, so replaced with one from ebay around 40, popped it in today and still the parking system faulty message and got my mate to plug in his computer to which the error came up parking system supply error, any ideas?? Could wiring be broken behind bumper? Thanks guys

Could be a broken wire or wrong sensor. The newer ones are very different to the older ones and lots of the ebay sellers don't know the difference and list them as compatible.

There was a thread on the 508 forum were someone had a similar issue (as did I with my DS)

Also make sure it is a OEM sensor... either from Pug dealer or a decent manufacturer such as Bosch, Lucas, TRW etc. Those chinese sensors are cheap but often cause more issues.

The ones I got in the linked thread from Ali were the only ones that worked 100% other than OEM and was not going to pay the stupid money they wanted for it.

Sensor is still working fine near on two years later
