Default Flat spot when accelerating

Hi

I have a 2015 Pug 308 (1.2 turbo) and do a lot of motorway driving.

I recently noticed that when i accelerate I get intermittent flat spots / loss of power. Any suggestions for what would cause this?

Could the turbo be on its way out? or would it likely be something like the spark plugs?

Thanks in advance

Hi mate, when I had my DS3 1.6 turbo few years back it done the same thing. When you accelerate a big stutter happens?
Mine was a spark plug on its way out.
It did it every now and then for good few months before finally giving up and dying.

I'm guessing your engine is a THP the same as what the DS3 has?

Have the same issue on my three cylinder 1.2 110bhp. Get a stutter sometimes during hard acceleration. Usually while getting onto the highway.
Hoping the spark plug change on upcoming service next week will sort it out.

It's a 2015 that recently passed 100000 km.

Yes it is a sort of stutter and then it carries on as normal, the service light came on a few days back so will be getting it booked in for a bit of TLC... Ill ask them to check/change the plugs when it goes in and see if it fixes the issue.
