Default Delay in seatbelt indicator light

On my 308SW (2017) when I plug the driver's seat-belt in there is (sometimes) a delay of 10-15 seconds before the seat-belt light goes out.

Is this normal on 308SW's ? I've never had another car do this

Likewise, always stays on for 10 seconds or so.

I think the whole in car computer system is slow particulary a danger is putting the car in reverse and I'm already moving before camera comes in.
Dealer says nothing wrong.

I think its part of a european requirement or for NCAP even with seat belt buckled up on a majority of new cars the drivers seat belt warning stays illuminated for around 20 seconds on start up.

ON my DS the same applies if any passenger is in the car. The alarm will also sound but only if belt not buckled
