Default Cambelt

Hi, I have a 2014 308 SW Feline with the 1.2 130bhp engine covering 35000 miles. Was wondering if anyone with the same engine has had an issue with the cambelt breaking up causing the oil pump to be blocked by the bits of debris from the belt as it’s inside the engine. This caused a red warning light and a message saying oil pressure to high. Car has now been in the garage since last Monday as they had to strip engine down and dealer couldn’t even provide me with a courtesy car even though I begged as my partner is pregnant and we had appointments at mid wife’s etc plus already got an 18 month old who needs taking to childcare and I have a job to get too. Absolutely fuming but one positive it’s being paid for by Peugeot.

That's quite a serious problem and hopefully not one that's going to become a common issue. Glad Peugeot are paying for it.
