Default Broken spring on 2014 Allure, canít source part!

I currently have a 2014 1.6e-hdi allure. 114bhp. Unfortunately I have broken a front passenger side spring. 35k miles.

I limped it to a local garage but I am totally unable to source the correct part. The garage have tried all their parts suppliers, Peugeot dealers say 3 weeks plus.

I contacted Peugeot uk customer services who have been no help at all.

No idea why this spring appears to be made from unobtanium. Can anyone shed any light? Other springs must be compatible?

Might be worth looking at a OEM type spring instead perhaps from someone like Eurocar parts

The OEM part doesnt come from Peugeot. When Peugeot build a car they buy in from OEM's who make to a spec. That spec means a PSA bag/box. But the OEM can sell themselves via other routes but no PSA bag/box but usually cheaper.
The only downside is that PSA may have 20 variants but the OEM makes 5 as the other 15 are not really variants but first attempts from PSA to early cars.

Have you tried going to the ECP website, typing your registration in and then look for the springs?
