Default Air con

Hi
Anyone had their gas refilled
I noticed that sort of hissing noise from the condenser when I switch off also last week in the hot weather the aircon was not cooling as normal
I have an extended warranty so if there is a problem in hoping it's covered

I've just had mine fail.....see my thread Air-Con....failure.

May need a new compressor and the job could cost 1500, luckily I'm just inside the warranty by two weeks.

A member did mention that a re-gas could cost 600.....unbelievable.

I've just had my wife's 206 re-gassed for 45 at our local F1 Autocentre.... Special type of gas evidently in the new 308.....shame it's not leak-proof.

I'm a bit afraid of what are you guys talking about. I had never any problem with A/C and my itention is to stay this way. My old 10 years old Scenic still blow chill air with entuziasm with no problem whatsoever ....

I'm hoping, as this new propane based gas becomes more common, it will get cheaper, and also more companies will be able to service the system.
