Cool 308 GTI Advice

Hello everyone and enjoy riders !
First of all I am new on site, I have been owned in past ;
206 1.4 Hdi 2007 brand new for around 4years
407 1.6 Hdi 2008 for 2 years
508 2.0 Hdi 2013 for last 5 years ...now have been sold

My next purchase will be 308 GTI 2018 facelift 28000 miles 270Bhp in RED

Any advice for this next buying

I really appreciate

Make sure there is plenty of meat left on the brakes and pads as they cost an absolute fortune to replace. Personally I would look at the Gt as it will cost a lot less to run but you will still get a lot of enjoyment out of it. Its horses for courses though and deep down I am a tight arse that would not spend nearly a grand on set of disks and pads

As long as it has a good, documented service history and is accident-free, youíll be fine...and will have a really enjoyable, driverís car.

You're brake pistons will most likely cease like all other GTIs. Theres a real problem with them. Also warping disks if your not careful.

Apart from that they are the real major issues.

According to Peugeot Service Box the front brake calliper part numbers for the 380mm x 32mm vented front brakes changed on March 7th 2016 from RPO 14364 onwards & there are also service / exchange ones available for these later cars.
