Default Wiring loom - Colours

Hello all,
I’m wondering if anybody knows of or can point me in the right direction of a wiring harness diagram/specs/colour guide that can help me identify which wire is which in the main loom, i.e. handbrake, permanent live, switched live etc. Obviously I could use a multimeter but if there is anything around that you are aware of I would be extremely grateful!

Thanks all!

Colours mean nothing you need to look at the tiny printed numbers on the wires !

There is SOME logic to the colours like green is nearly always earth but not always
black is more likely to be power than earth !
Yellow is normally power as is white but yellow with green is earth !
Red is live most of the time
Blue is usually switched live IE only when ignition is on

Yes but it would probably be easier to ask the specific question relating to what you are actually trying to achieve rather than what wire does what its a bit vauge.

Someone may already have done what you are trying to do.

That would be telling! I’m literally just after identifying the wires in that loom 🙂

A lot of the wiring numbers are shown in the Haynes manuals. Certainly helped me identify wires in the past.
