Default Wheel bearing/ABS problem

Hi folks
I've had to replace my wheel bearing for MOT. I've never done a press fit bearing before, what a pain!!
Anyway, spent all day, finally got it done, but now have an ABS fault coming up on dash.
I've looked at a previous post on here, but I don't recall seeing an ABS ring. Is it built into the bearing?
Is it possible to put the bearing in around the wrong way.
I feel like such a pillock even asking this, but I must have had a brain fart when I was putting it back together and could easily have done something wrong.
Couldn't be bothered to take the wheel off and have a look tonight so will have a look in the morning.
Any ideas will be gratefully received,

The ring is on the bearing outer seal and its only on 1 side so you may have fitted the bearing backwards.
assume nothing check everything twice !!
