Default Sharp edge on gear stick top.

Another quick 308 (2013) question. The chrome top of my gear lever knob has worn leaving sharp edges, does anyone know if the chrome part is replaceable and how it's fixed, or does it require a new knob, if so does it screw off, It seems quite tight?

Default gear stick top

They are replacable as we replaced one on my brother-in-laws 207SW and I think that the 308 is the same (it looks the same as my 308SW).
They lift out but are tight. You can get them on ebay for about 3 but be careful as there are 2 versions, one hasn't got the recess all round and one has. I THINK that you need the one that is item No 192521902778 (which is now a whopping 22.49 - I paid 3 from the same seller 6 months ago). Have a search on ebay for similar items but look carefully at the picture to check for the recess, the cut out notch and the dimensions.

Thank you, I'll check that out.

EDIT. I took the eBay route and fixed the job for Just a little over Three quid. No more scratched hand.
