Default Regular or premium/high octane unleaded for 2009 308?

Hi all,

Recently acquired a 308, 2009, 1400, petrol with very little milage and in great condition.
Would you recommend just using regular unleaded or paying a bit extra for the high octane/premium..?

Thanks in advance.

Keep an eye on the oil. These all use about a litre every 1000 miles. I have changed mine to total esp quartz 5w30 you can get it for a good price on eBay 😊

You won't gain anything from putting higher octane petrol in your car.
The engine is designed to run on regular unleaded, for better economy use a gentle right foot, foe better performance get heavy footed.
