Default Rad fan running after a short drive

Went to have a look at a 2007 308 1.6 vti today,a car that one of my family is thinking of buying. The car was in great condition all round for the year and has only clocked 52,000.On the test run of about 3-4 miles the car ran great, but when we came back to the compound and turned the engine off the rad fan was running.I know that the header tank was up to level as I noticed this when checking the engine bay when it was running before the road test.Thinking about it now I should turned on the ignition and checked the temp gauge but got called away.I wondered if anyone who has a 308 1.6 vti could tell me if the fan running after a short run is normal on this model or is there possibly a problem.

If its the same as previous models then the fans can continue to run after if the A/C was running at time of switch off.
