Default Noise

Hi all,

I have realized a strange noise coming from the engine bay. This happens only when I run the car in the morning, so let say when it is cold. I don't hear it during the rest of the day. What would you say? It's 2010 model 1.6 HDI 90 hp.

It sounds to me as ball bearing, belt tensioner maybe. Try to spray some water on belts, ball bearings on air con and alternator...at least you will eliminate some posibilities
Good luck

Had something very similar on mine but more squeaky , only in morning , turned out to be a squeaky tensioner.

How did he degreased the belt? Did he just apply degrease spray on the belt?

Well i do not know how. If I should do it myself, i would take some contact cleaner and spray it on the inside off the belt and clean it with a cloth.
