Default Newbie woes

Drivers side rear indicator stopped working yesterday......changed bulb and still not working!!

Soon discovered no lights working at all on drivers side cluster!!

Took out working passenger side rear light to swap known working bulbs and found wiring loom cut and loose wire stuffed in bulb holder.( indicator stopped working but OK now light is back together.)

Searched on here and found the "common fault" and repair of burnt out earth wire and pin on light

I carried out repair to drivers side light by bridging earth and now the stop and tail light works but still no indicator on drivers side....

Is there a separate fuse just for drivers side rear indicator or is there anything else I can do??

sounds silly did you change the bulb after you fixed the wiring?

just last week i had the same fault but passenger side indicator was not working i called into the local motor factor picked two bulbs, removed the blown bulb and replaced
with one of the new ones and it worked for a second then blew, i then checked the earth and had to add the extra wire and installed the 2nd new one and bingo working.
