Default Newbie question

Hi all,

This might be a daft question but I am on the verge of buying a 308sw 2010 2.0hdi vehicle and I have checked and the model of the engine is DIESEL TURBO DW10BTED4.

I have phoned up the local Peugeot dealership and have asked whether this car tops up its fuel with Eoly's or not but didn't get a sensible answer, anybody got any idea?

I am a bit concerned about having a fap filter but I do a 80 mile round trip on the motorway every day so hoping I don't run into too many problems.

If anybody has and advice or useful tips ref this vehicle I would be very pleased to hear from you.

Cheers

Can't say for the 308 but the 307's don't have the DPF on the 90BHP engine. The higher BHP engines have the DPF fitted

thats 134bhp - so I would say yes it does.

easy way to check - have a look under the fuel flap - is there a switch under there - this tells the car to inject the eolys into the fuel.

You'll be fine at 80 miles a day on a motorway. When the 407 isn't broken I do 50 a day and the DPF has never given me any problems.
