Default Mpg

Morning all,had car just over a week ,mileometer says car is giving (25.4) MPGaverage speed to return this is (21)mph.that can not be right ,can it,oh and 110 in fuel been put in .Is car very thirsty ,or is something going on i dont know.Any ideas?

25.4 mpg is ok if your driving urban, I have the 207 gti with a few mods on it and if put my foot down my mpg can go down to 12 drive it sensible and around town i can get 30 mpg:thumb. Look at auto trader on specs of your car to find the figures, ive had a look and there's nothing out of the ordinary.

new to me but not new ,yep it shifts ok ,just the fuel issue that bugs me
