Default Installing a power lead from engine bay. 308

Hi, I'm trying to install a power cable through my engine bay into the dash, to power up a separate DVD unit and headrest screens.

I can't seem to find anywhere to feed the cable through.

I have read on hear about running power from the fuse box. Would this be possible? And would I not have to disconnect the battery first? Thus loosing the settings to everything electrical.?

Thanks for your time. Please advise of possible.
