Default Gutless

I recently bought a 2008 308 1.6 vti se and have found that it's the most gutless car I've ever driven. The first 3 gears might as well be a hybrid 2nd gear, as there's pretty much no oomph to acceleration. Surely this car has more power than that? I've driven a 1.2 corsa that had more poke than this car. Once you eventually get up to 5th gear, it's not too bad at cruising at 70, but even then it feels like it doesn't have much more to give. According to the service history, it was last serviced in February.

Have you had the car diagnosed? There could be a hidden problem resulting in the lack of power

No I haven't had it diagnosed yet. How would I go about that? Take it to a garage that has the Peugeot planet software?

You may be able to find a member on this forum who is local to you and possibly willing to help, search this thread and take it from there, hopefully you'll get it sorted

Yes I would say that something is certainly wrong that needs to be checked.I have a 308 120 vti S and it goes like a rocket when you give it some welly.

I do hope it's something that can be easily, and cheaply, remedied.

I would buy one of these, but without a laptop, it's pretty pointless.
