Default Ground in glove box

Hi,
I'm going to install a 12v socket in my glove box for my dash cam.
Can anyone tell me if there is an easy ground without taking the glove box off
cheers

Do you have a 12v cigarette adaptor in the center console? Maybe you can use that 12v lead and ground lead.

Upside is that is has an fuse..

If that is not possible, every piece of bare metal on your car is ground...

Have a look for my dashcam guide on here somewhere, covers all this with photos.

If you have the Right Hand Drive car, the panel on the left of the glovebox when you open the door (with the passenger airbag switch) comes off, and there is a large bolt behind that you can ground to safely.

Quick and easy method ,why not run a USB cable from your dashcam to the USB socket under the steering wheel.Ive done it ,it works well and there is no need to pull your car apart except to hide the cable.
