Default Fault code P1340

Have a p1340 fault code which pointed me to camshaft position sensor, have changed this and fault still happening, any ideas?

As you have now found fault codes DO NOT mean faulty part.

Wiring timing belt/chain can all cause cam faults you need to read the WHOLE description for the fault not just the part.

Some code readers will report cam faults for crank faults.

It would also help to know what car/engine you are talking about

Yeah it is and the fan comes on straight away and stays on for about 10 minutes after turning engine off even if I don’t move the car

well that info NEEDS to be in your initial post !!!

Water ingress into ecu faulty temp sensor

Timing chain or dephaser more likely the real issue you probably have 2 cam sensors 1 on each cam as you can see there are many reasons for faults you need to know HOW to interprit them AND look at ALL the symptoms.
