Default EGR valve and antipolution fault hdi

Hi, looking for advice. Basically last October the misses 1.6 hdi lost all boost and anti pollution fault p0299 came up and also read p1351 which I believe was glow plug or relay related. Egr code did appear but cleared and didn't come back.. for a while. Used dpf cleaning stuff and eventually turbo started working again.. last week lost all power again and same problem but this time egr valve p0402 coming up and it's misfiring as you hit 3.5k revs and so underpowered

Do egr valves have any impact on dpf regeneration? Would there also be a way of disconnecting egr valve to see if that's impacting car drive ability.
Also do the 308 hdis have a coil light as never seen one on the car which occurred to me after the glow plug error? (checked relay and it's clicking)

Thanks in advanced.

Glow plugs are for regens they are not really used for starting so you wont see a glowplug light unless you watch carefully first start.

Half second at most !!

Egr will affect regens as it needs to work also when not working properly it will affect running.

Just assumed it would be flashing if it detected a fault with the glow plugs if relay was potentially fine but that's cleared up some things at least

Ok thanks but do you have any idea if egr can temp be disconnected to see if that's the original cause of floss of power and misfiring arse off over 3.5k revs?

you can try disconnecting the maf sensor as this stops the egr valve

what happens with the egr valve is they get full of crap and stops them working as there electric

if your spanner handy you can strip it off. (bit of a pain to get to the bolts) and clean out with brake cleaner.

if the electrical part has failed a new one is the only option

All for trying that as it will be easier to access but how does disconnecting maf stop the egr?

Tried disconnecting both and did very little. Car didn't drive any worse or better

So still no turbo and misfires. Gonna have to bite bullet and get pp2000 diagnostics methinks

So had the glow plugs changed as diagbox confirmed relay was fine. Changed and fault code gone. Also changed the air filter as it was shockingly clogged but the lack of turbo remains not to mention the misfire between 3-4K is pretty iffy. The egr p0402 keeps coming back then going off but can't get much info of what is cause of it as yet

What blanking egr be an option or does it need replacing if it's stuck open

Anyone able to make sense of these readings for egr and turbo electrovalve?

Turbo pressure only goes up to 1.3k when driving but no idea on what numbers mean for egr to confirm if functioning or stuck open

Screenshot is on idle
