Default ABS pressure sensor

Hullo,

After having scanned my car using PP2000, I have the following fault that the Heynes workshop manual does not cover.

"Remote intermittent fault. Brake pedal switch fault: Coherence with the pressure sensor. Coherence"

Cannot be the brake light switch - my brake lights do come on. If it is a pressure sensor - Where is it located and how do I replace it?

Would anyone have a part no. for me please

My vin no.: VF34C9HXC********

Thank you

Replace the brake light switch. Theres two switches built into it. One for brake lights and other for the ecus.

+1 to this. Its reporting intermittent as well so you can't gauge the reliability of the item by looking at the brake lights.

Thank you - I will get this switch - seen some on ebay.

I had a look around the top of the brake pedal and all I can see is a connector going into the accelerator switch but no brake switch. By having looked at the pics of the brake switch on ebay it has a "plunger" that needs to be pressed to make the switch and yet I cannot see it anywhere near the pedal. Is it located somewhere else? If so - where will I find it?

Thanks

I cant read your vin but a 407's brake switch is up behind the passenger glovebox, at the end of the pedal linkage.
