Default ABS ESP Faults

Hi All,
I wonder if you can help me out with these fault codes I got from my PP2000. My mechanic cleaned the contacts however the ABS/ESP fault code keep popping up a few minutes in the drive.. in actual fact it seems it got worse i.e. more frequent

ABS or ESP ECU : Intermittent Fault: incoherence between the stop lamp switch and the pressure switch. Coherence

Engine ECU: Intermittent Fault: Brake contact signal coherence between the brake switches.

Thanks

The switches give trouble. Change it. There is a modified one with a supplementry wiring loom to prevent repeat failure at dealers.

The brake light switch has two switches built in. One for the brake lights and one for the engine ecu as it needs to see brakes applied signal.
As regards manufacturer who knows. Its the problem so whats the point knowing who made it.
Your mechanic wasted his time messing with it.

And that does make sense then.... that is why the same fault is being reported on the two ecu's..

Thanks
