Default ABS/ESP fault

Hi, Connected to my car via PP2000 but the software cannot identify my abs/esp ecu (PP2000 unknown reference, ECU being referenced -no joy) The overall scan says I have a fault but I cannot get in to be more specific. Any solutions? Although under the engine ECU I see the following fault message: Permanent fault. Brake contact signal Coherence between the * brake switches. WTH does this mean? Any ideas anyone?

Thanks

The brake switch has two sets of contacts. One is for the brake lights and the other is for cruise control. These two are supposed to operate in a set sequence - cruise first then the brake light. I'm pretty sure this means that one of the switches - more than likely the cruise switch has failed.

Make sure you are reading the correct abs/esp type as there tends to be a choice brake switch could well be the problem

Could anyone please give me some advice? Where is the brake switch located? Is it easy to remove/replace? Any info will be much appreciated.

Thanks
