Default 308sw 1.6 auto gear oil change

I serviced my mother in law's car. Last week. 44k on odometer. All filters done. On driving it the gear changes seemed slow or jerky, and prior to service. I drive a Skoda DSG and driven other autos so I am not used to a 308 . Is this normal? The 307cc manual 5 speed box is the best manual I've driven . The jerkyness is consistent going up or down through all gears. There is no noise just a bit of a longer delay.
I looked into a fluid and gear filter change but dealers tell me there is no gear box filter, most autos have one?
Is it worth changing the 2litre of gear oil? 22 for 2l from dealer. Which is a for life gear oil.
Apparently, there is an Actuator fluid also, which I have never heard of. Parts staff seemed very knowledgeable though. I've found gear sump plug, square laser tool to remove. Filling via breather at top of box, probably after removing battery.

Any experience with this box? Anyone changed these gear fluids?

BTW the undertray bolts had to be angle grinder off, worst system I've come across on cars I've serviced. Small bolts and easy to rust and seize.

Assuming its AL4 transmission which is filled for lifetime fluid (bullshit). You can buy fluid from dealer or get from local shops Mobil LT71141 ATF same stuff. Filter is builtin transmission for accessing you have to dismantle transmission and it is attached to oil pump you can see its location using "Peugeot Service Box" by entering your chassis number. There is a filling procedure must be followed for AL4 transmissions by removing the square drain bolt and inside plastic oil level tube by 6mm Hex Allen key and filling of course from top. Removing battery is optional for better access and clearance but it can be done by removing air filter housing and hose attached to it.

Once removed air filter housing parts you can undo the bolt using long extension 18" and filling oil with long neck funnel or something like that.

Just type in google "AL4 transmission service/ATF replace" you will find lots of videos even in Russian language very helpful.

Very useful information, thanks.
I viewed video. It looks like mechanic has dropped oil after removing gear oil sump plug, located breather to refill left of air box, not removing air box. Started car and gone through automatic gears, park, reverse, drive. This has circulated gear oil around transmission and more gear oil has exited sump. Video cuts short of refilling. I have refilled 4 cars gear oil, what comes out volume goes back in with fresh fluid.

Not sure if AL4 transmission but the car in video has Park, there is no park gear in 308SW I'm looking after.

It appears there is some old gear oil leak, not from oil filter.

Q can you confirm in photo that this rubber circle has breather under it?
Any ideas on what electric wiring is going to transmission? See photos please.

The breather pipe? See pic, this is close up of gap between air pipe and battery

Pic close up of rubber circle, maybe breather and fill point of gear box? Doesn't look like breather I've seen on 307, which is a black small chimney 1 or 2cm tall.

To find out which gearbox you have, post the last eight digits of the VIN.

I highly recommend to use Peugeot service box using vin number and verify if you have AL4 transmission. The black head next to wire harness looks like filling bolt to me from where you will refill the oil.
