Default 308 plug spanner size?

Hi,

Just servicing the wifes 2007 308 1600cc 16v and have come unstuck with the spark plugs.

The replacement standard NGKs i've bought need a 16mm deep/box spanner but my old faithful 16mm long box spanner won't fit what's in the car- the original plugs.

Anyone know what size deep socket I need to get hold of to get them out?

Thanks,

John

Thanks Windy.

Love the Suzi RGV. I've restored an '89 Yamaha FZR600 this year- lotsa fun.

Just posted a couple of pics of the RGV (Money Pit) in the pictures thread.https://www.peugeotforums.com/forums/...50/index7.html

It's a great fun machine and can embarrass some sports car and bike drivers/riders as they don't remember the two stroke screamers of years ago and just see a 250 badge.

After the work I have done now have near 75BHP at rear wheel and it only weighs about 135Kg so goes like stink. Downside about 22 MPG and 15.00 a litre for two stroke oil which lasts about 300 Miles .
