Default 308 hdi anti-pollution

just today, purchased a used 09 plate 308 hdi 1.6 sw.......anti-pollution fault was displayed and car was idling slighty erratic,it was just noticeable.......i switched car off,re-started and it was ok........ive left it at the garage and they said they will get it sorted, also tyre pressure light was on aswell...........

any ideas what the anti-pollution is/could be ?

cars done 111 k and has history upto 89k.

If its a 110bhp then it might be time to replace the particulate filter and / or need the additive refilling.

It might be worth getting a price before proceeding as it can be quite expensive to replace, but if you can remove and pressure wash the DPF and fill the additive yourself you could do it for under 100 and get more life out of the existing filter.

And check DPF prices on CATS2U website.

Anti-Pollition fault could be anything, you won't know for sure until you get it on some diagnostics.

well..........i changed the cambelt yesterday, although it wasn't due.....the fluid in the bag under the car is empty........not had the car on diagnostics as of yet,the peugeot mechanis busy till next week..........funny thing is all day today ..no engine management light is on........and no anti pollution fault is displayed in the center screen........

Ive noticed some days light stays off, some days 'anti pollution fault' and engine management light is on..........no loss of power.

If Peugeot are "too busy" one of us would be happy to check it for you with our diagnostics kit. Check the Planet map thread for details.
