Default 308 Folding Seat Linkage Disconnecting

Have just bought a 308CC and within several weeks the release handle for the passenger seat jammed and would not fold the seat forward. Seats controlled by motors, which all still function. Took to local dealer who, after a diagnostic check, said that the mechanism linkage had probably become disconnected. Took car in and they found a 2p piece jammed in the mechanism. (Cost 100, as seller's warranty did not cover mechanical problems.) All fixed. Except, two weeks later, not only has the same seat failed again, but also the driver's seat. (Temp in car was 42C - a possible expansion problem?) Anyone any experience of this occurrence and can suggest a reason for this fault and a more economical method of having this problem permanently fixed?
