Default 308 1.6THP Cold Air Induction

Hi Guys,

Recently I installed a cone filter on my 1.6T.
There is from what I researched online, a long breather hose that comes from the intake manifold. AS you can see from the image, I have left it venting to atmosphere. Is this OK? I have seen alot of induction kits like the forge kit that has the breather hoses connected to the silicon intake tube. As you can see from the image I have the crankcase breather fitted with a small filter but I don't know what to do with the other hose or if it's safe to leave it as is.

Any thoughts, suggestions?
