Default Yellowing headlamps

My headlamps are getting quite yellow, im just looking for some advice to potentially restore these before i consider replacing them with expensive ones..
ive heard some chemicals can damage them

water sand paper 1000 after sand paper 2500 and on finisch tempo polish paste but help just for 6 monts

uPVC polish works well too. if used gently but you won't get that fresh minty smell after

I have to say, toothpaste worked a treat!, however mine was colgate max fresh with cooling crystals, so it left a few little 'cooling' squares on the lenses, lol... would recommend just bog standard colgate, the lenses look like they have some heat damage on them (beginning to split and crack), however so much more light through them, will post a pic tomorrow once daylight

People need to be more aware of the powers of tooth paste.. i think sensodyne could be onto something!, i remember using to polish my phone screen years ago, never occured to me thanks again
