Exclamation !!!!very shaky!!!!!

peugeot 307 2.0 hdi 90 52plate:

when i brake from a high speed the car vibrates like fooook. the steering wheel almost gives me white finger.
it also does it when speeding over about 80.
any ideas what this could be?

Could be a warped disc?
I may be wrong but I had some thing similar on a old cav..

Get the car up on a ramp. Get a disc run out test done.

Thanks lads. ill take her to the garage as soon as i can. startin to squeek while braking now so looks like its something around the brakes.

I always ask on here before taking to garage to make sure there not robbin me.

Check all the wheels to see if there are any bulges in the tyres or if any balancing weights have fallen off (can be done while the car is on the floor/ on a normal trolley jack), otherwise like the others have said, check the brakes
