Default URGENT - 2005 XSi HDi owners, could I ask a favour?

Desperation calling!!

This thread is for ppl who own a 2005 (05) model 307 XSi HDi 136 bhp RHR engine code, would prefer if you own a SW model but not essential - it must be 2005 though.

I'm not sure if this will help but my build code is 10327.

Out of interest and to establish what ECU should be in my car, could I ask you fellow owners a favour and grab the part numbers that are on your engine's ECU please?

All I'm basically after is the SID number, the 5WS number, the SW number and the HW number.

Or even better if its not any trouble, a pic of the Siemens barcode label with the numbers please?

The reason i'm asking is because my car has had a replacement ECU before I bought it and has writing on the back of it "307 2007/2008", but it is running rough / fuelling wrong when its cold.

I would be massively grateful if any of you could do this for me as I am very confused on what ECU should be in my car, Peugeot cannot help me as Service Box only gives a Service Box part code and i'm getting conflicting part numbers through searches.

I feel the only chance I have is by cross referencing what ppl have with the same year car as mine, I really need to get to the bottom of this before the car becomes a money pit!

Thanks for reading guys

Thanks for your reply Andy, I have sent you a PM.

Is anyone on here at least be able to tell me how many ECU variants there are for my particular model?

Surely it shouldn't be this complicated to establish what ECU my car should be running?

Are any of you fellow owners able to help please?

Ok after doing a bit of research and calling my local main dealer, it turns out the ECU is the same between the years 2004 / 2005 and it doesn't matter if its a hatch or an estate.

The only thing i'm faced with is I only have the Peugeot part number of 1942PP and still don't have any clue on what the part numbers on the ECU should be.

My current ECU numbers are............

SID 803
5WS40029R-T
10322/ 245405048/ 05003/ 005A4
SW9658212380
HW9655041480

If any of you can post what is on your ECU label or can confirm if your label has the same numbers as the above that would be a massive help.

Thanks a lot
