Default Startg when hot & oil drain plug where is it

Hi gang new to pugeot 307hdi se and diesels always had petrol. Going to flush engine oil question will detergent flush mix with correct oil for flushing then replace o/f and use new sinthetic oil ? Also sad really where can I find drain plug on oil pan ? Secondly car starts fine first time when I use it after parking up for a while it takes several attempts then starts never did this before recent full clutch change any ideas pleased . Coop

The drain plug is at the bottom of the sump. Yes really!. You need either a 21mm quality ring spanner or socket or a square 8mm tool for the job.
Just drain the oil and replace it with a good quality oil of the correct spec, which any decent motor factor will stock. Don't worry about flushing.

But you need to give us more details about your car for more detailed answers.

Not starting when hot could be diesel temperature sensor fault.

Not a cheap part though so get a diagnostic to confirm.
