Default Starter grinds for a moment

Hello.
I have already posted about this problem, but now I am making a separate thread to gain more attention to this issue.

So I have the following problem. When I crank the engine, right after the engine starts, and I release the key from the crank position, I can hear a grinding noise coming from the front of the car. Sounds like the starter takes half a second to disengage after the engine starts running.
See the video I recorded:
https://youtu.be/cTRrUl4Vjgw

What could I do to further diagnose the problem. Can I acess the starter without removing the transmission. If not, is there any fix you could recommend withouth removing the gearbox from the engine.
Thanks in advance for the help.

Hi...sound like a new starter is needed.....if that noise has been for a long time ..the starter ring gear may be damaged as well...whip the starter out and check the starter motor gear.......

I cannot find your original post in which you were given some ideas. What has happened to it?

Could be a sticking/slowing solenoid

You can take off the starter and clean out any gunk to see if it frees up a bit

But as mentioned if its been going on a while you might have to look at ring gear for damage as well
