Default RT4 Compass issue

Hi, can anybody shed light as to why the compass on the RT4 screen is showing North in the completely opposite direction? has it anything to do with RDS being ghosted out?

any suggestions appreciated

how many visible satellites do you have?
Try a soft reset and see what happens ( press and hold "Dark" for 15 seconds )
